I have it happen when I run lots of miles a week and get dehydrated. Sports drinks help more than water alone.

 

It's a government job, so... It's really not her fault. She could have done more, but she's only been here about three months or so. Two of us left partially because we didn't get the position when it was open. I didn't really want it that much. I was just afraid of what we might get. She's been fair and good enough, but not overly engaged. The other guy was incensed about it when we found out about the hire.

Welp, the boy in throwing up and stayed home sick from school.

This is the same boy who didn't flinch when the other 3 people in the house had the flu.

It's been a good run society, but if something got him, it's gonna kill the rest of us.

I’m pretty sure the Black Plague has hit our house this week.

I didn’t know kids could throw up so damn much and my wife caught it too so it was me trying to manage three sick kids.

 

The Plague is about all that can take him down. Before this morning he'd thrown up once in his life. Let's just say he surpassed that total by 8am.

 

Plague is treatable with antibiotics.

IDK WTF happens, but every year, my deductions are married and one from my check, I have paid like 5 years in a row, last year being the worst. I have 2 girls, so you'd think they'd take plenty to cover that, I do the max on my 457 too. I'm not really asking for free advice, but you think my company is just completely screwing this up? I think there are charts to simplify it.

 

I might legit lose my damn mind if this flu stuff doesn’t end soon.
