I'm not to proud to admit that I have developed a new guilty pleasure. I've watched several like mini episodes or something on the Facebooks of Paternity Court, and I can't get enough.

Don’t know if y’all watch AGT but the last act tonight did her own version of U2 still haven’t found what I’m looking for. She is Asian I believe, blind and possibly autistic. I’ve never heard what I just heard.

 

Tyler Childers was awesome. Wasn’t a full show since it was Opry but he still played like 8 songs, mostly off the new album, and all were fantastic

Finally made it to The Gorge last week. Some of the most incredible landscapes I have ever seen. Pics simply can’t do that place justice but here’s one anyway.

Quincy, WA. Bout 2.5-3 hours east of Seattle.

I was up that way for work once and drove by the exit for Quincy in the dark on the way to Moses Lake from the reservation at Yakima. Rough day that one was.

That part of Washington is pretty cool. I've only been there once, and it really struck me how drastic the landscape changed driving over the mountains from Seattle. Everything changed from lush and green to brown as I went along. Some day I'd like to get back out that way on a trip other than work.

 

Yes, that also really stuck out to me. One minute you’re in the forest and the next it feels like the desert.

 

I’ll add the temperature swings are pretty crazy as well. We stayed at a hotel in Cle Elum, so maybe halfway between Seattle and Quincy. When the sun was out, we’d leave the hotel and it would be 75, but when we get to the venue an hour east it was 90.

Of course, 90 is actually fairly comfortable when there’s no [uck fay]ing humidity and is accompanied by a light to moderate breeze.
