There is a vinyl wood-appearing floor you might like. In the event of another flood, it would not be nearly the same problem. Put throw rugs over that.

 

Luxury vinyl tile, LVT. You can get some that looks like hardwood or just tile it

 

Yep. Piece it together like a puzzle. Looks good. Definitely not the fanciest but serves its purpose.

 

The LVT was my first thought.

Any experience with finished/polished concrete? I thought doing that with a finish that has some color to it would be a decent option. Throw down some area rugs and be done with it.

Concrete always kinda feels cold and damp

 

It looks good but it's expensive but it's durable. We do it a lot on commercial jobs

Same thing happened here. We switched to the laminate hardwood looking stuff.

You should just get a Mac, install windows on it, and photoshop a bunch of pictures of new floors. Thats what I would do

We had someone on our subdivision's Facebook page ask if she needed to wear her eclipse glasses while she was driving during the eclipse. It's terrifying to think we share the road with people like her.

 

I suggested that we go with tile flooring like you see in a diner, but instead of black and white we do orange and white. My wife shot that down with a quickness.
