Dobbs should carry it 10-15 times a game.

This may be why Shoop starts the defense out slow.

I can think of a lot more players that haven't progressed than that have.

Who is significantly better than as a freshman? Vereen? O'Brien? Who else?

Bob Shoop is best coach in the east. Florida didn't have a run over 12 yards and were held to 3 yards in the 3rd quarter.

Vickers, Weisman, Foreman, Moseley, Trevor Daniels

He's made starters out of some unheralded recruits. But Moseley and Daniels were good when they set foot on campus. I can buy Vickers and Weisman. I'm not a Foreman fan. At any rate, it's not exactly a jaw dropping list of all SEC caliber guys.

Daniels was a walk on that didn't play until he was a redshirt junior. Moseley was a 2* guy that weighed 150 lbs.

I thought Daniels was a sophomore. My bad. Moseley was always tall and fast. I don't credit Butch for his weight gain.

Anyway, your list is unimpressive compared to how real coaches develop talent.

A lot of the development seems to be coming from a good S&C program

I've said he sucks at it earlier. You asked for a list. I gave it to you.

Lost to Georgia Southern giving up 0 passings yards. That's really damn impressive.

I don't see how anyone can say most of the defense hasn't developed. Arriving on campus talented doesn't mean you didn't progress.

If you have to pick the best turd, keep in mind you're still picking a turd.

Josh Malone is playing better football than he has up to this point. Don't know if that means he's developed, or what.

Everything Jones does sucks, man. All the time.

I do believe that for the most part. He just isn't good enough.

But I doubt the level of involvement he has on D now. The Shoop hire screamed, "You take this" to me. Now if he would do the same with a similar caliber O coord.

    Absolutely.
