Baring a miracle second half, Anderson Co is on its way to an 0-3 start. Not used to.

Biggest game of year for us Saturday, worst practice of year by a country mile last night. *sighs*

 

Hectic next 90 days. Fall practice for HS 3 days a week, team lift 2 days/week, Sunday practice for regional travel, 3 tournaments in NC, VA and Md. We lost a lot on defense on HS team and curious to see the patience of the coach coming off a loaded team and goat season for a 25 year old program.

 

What happened to Fulton? We are crushing them tonight and they have like 25 players, total. And that is no exaggeration

 

They all went to Alcoa, Oak Ridge and Maryville

Tough win vs Henry County. Seems like they always are pretty good. 6’2 220 qb

 

Ain’t none at the Blount co ones. They are all at Powell west and bearden. Heupel could take recruiting tips from bearden’s head coach.

 

Won our game of unbeatens today 44 to 28. We had over 300 yards offense in 8u. They probably had 250. Pretty sure every offensive record in the league was broken in that game.

State focusing more on school test scores has kept them from taking athletes out of area that use to come in that’s hurt them.

Gibbs and Powell have benefited the most from it.

 

Their long time coach stepping down didn’t help either.

 

Maryville put in the freshman qb at halftime. Offense scores 3 drives in a row and looks the best it does all season.

 

Needs to happen more often, namely when the band is playing during the game on the field.

I was shocked when I noticed our band was playing the entire time that we were on defense. Apparently it isn't against the rules in highschool.
