It's going to be wild, difficult to keep up with, and a great movie

 

Finally saw Black Widow. I enjoyed it tremendously! MUCH better than Shang-Chi (that was a freaking snoozefest).

 

No way. Shang Chi was a good movie

 

Ghostbusters:Afterlife was pretty great.

 

First person I’ve heard say anything bad about it

 

I was a bit above meh on it. Like the movie but didn't think they balanced paying homage to Harold Ramis and the old movies with setting up future movies well.

 

I thought they did a great job of balancing the nostalgia with keeping it its own movie. A small bit of sequel setup in the post credits scene

 

I enjoyed ghostbusters a lot. Fun, cheesy, predictable, but well done. That's what I wanted it to be.

And the egon/ray relationship they set up with the two kids was great.

 

100% chance its better than the original, the most overrated movie in the history of moviedom

People coming into this thread and seeing this Ghost Busters take:

 

Could be an age deal partially. I was 15 when it came out and into girls while break dancing at a teen club on Park Avenue in memphis. Not a big Ghostbuster fan base around me at the time.

 

There are bad takes, and then hoo boy one of these comes along and takes the cake.

I didn't like how much of a reshoot, basically, the last half of the movie turned out to be.

 

I didn't mind at all. The movie met my expectations. A good, nostalgic, fun blast from the past.
