Same. Externals wasn’t that good but I’ve liked all of the others pretty well. And that one was just too much too fast.

 

Wait. I had forgotten that one. It was kind of meh, but I didn't think it was as bad as some of the haters made it out to be, just kind of blah.

I've not made it a point to avoid them. It just hasn't worked out to see them.

 

That’s the only one I haven’t seen. Well, that and Black Widow

 

Well I used to make sure to get to the theater but haven’t done that since endgame. I almost attribute that to COVID breaking the habit more than anything

 

I figure we will eventually subscribe to Disney and catch up, but that's become less of a priority the last year or so.

 

I’ve tried watching Secret Invasion but cannot get into it.

 

It’s ok. It would be better binged I think

Oppenheimer was fantastic

 

No sleep til Brooklyn was already awesome but after guardians 3 it’s been on a whole other level when it comes on

 

Secret Life of Pets also makes that song awesome.

 

As most of you know I’m a major nuclear nerd - Oppenheimer to me right now is like a 20 in a kids pocket. Burning a freaking hole through me until I can get to the theater. Problem is my wife wants to see it with me which means waiting until we can line up a sitter. Doh!

 

Go without her. You’ll want to see it again. I promise.

 

This is a movie we will be talking about for a long time.

 

I went to see Oppenheimer this afternoon. I feel like I have been on a treadmill for a couple of hours. Great Movie and cast.

 

Saw Barbie and thought it was pretty funny. Got long towards the end but better than I expected for sure.

 

I saw Oppenheimer today - will see it again this weekend on IMAX hopefully.

I loved how he captured the chalkboard talks.

And the sound was really effective for me.

And holy hell the way they wove in Einstein at the end. Loved it. That was some great story telling and quite the strong point.

Hill’s (Robbie Malek’s) role in how things played out wasn’t formed well enough for me to totally buy it.

They should have somehow highlighted that Hill had become head of the Federation of American Scientists. And maybe shown Bush coming to him to discuss what happened in the security review

 

I'm seeing a little hate for Oppenheimer on the twitters. I may see it. I have a reunion with the wife's family. If I get bored I may go. I haven't decided.

 

When I saw Hill I thought, "Oh my gosh, what a talent wasted". I was glad to see him resurface at the Senate hearings but would have loved to have seen his character more.
