    There's a guy at Arky St that used to want the job. Real upstanding guy, too.

    Herd mentality at its best. Business was right.

    Making fun of a ridiculous argument is herd mentality now?

    Side step. You think Bajakian sucks, who would you replace him with?

    You all thought he sucked last year in game 1. Who would you replace him with?

    Maybe I'm crazy but I have more faith in Bajakian than I do Jancek.

    Ideal scenario is Muschamp tanks at UF and is fired. The players we're recruiting on D almost fit Muschamps system perfectly. Muschamp is an awful HFC but he's top shelf DC material.

    Really? I thought he sucked in game one last year? I did?

    Oh.

    Jay? BPV? NYY? Anyone care to comment?

    All year long this whole board complained about Bajakian. Side step.

    There are better arguments than "who ya gonna git?"

    I think BPV laid out a pretty good list of criteria. I think he correctly identified that it is the job of the current coach to find competent coordinators, as they are allegedly more educated and qualified to identify and select from the talent pool.

    Do you believe our current OC is the guy who should be running our offense?

    I was here. The fact that I can't tell any adjustments to the running game this year at all is starting to make be waver a lot.

    Maybe I'm just lying to myself but I'm hoping that Bajakian identified problems in the offseason:

    * Deep passing game

    * Interior running game

    And took the opportunity to go live for practice to hone those 2 once the game was honestly secured against both USU and ASU. I did notice that Hurd was not bouncing any runs outside in the few moments when the OL opened a wide enough hole for him to see the field. He kept it inside. We didn't see much of Lane either.

    It did honestly look like Bajakian was just grinding Hurd to see what workload he could take and to try to determine who the p*****s on the OL are. Which they seem to have identified, hence Crowder getting canned and the several other moves. We can move to quick passes to cover up OL pass blocking issues a la 2007 but we can't do anything to circumvent a bunch of soft-assed Dooley recruits on the OL.

    That's why we're seeing more and more Jones guys. Weisman, Robertson, Thomas. If Blair ever gets his ass in gear he'll solidify the LT position.

    That's just my take. I'm not sold on Bajakian but I'm also not quite as negative on him as some others are.

    I'm not crazy about either one.

    I think the D has looked better than the 0 against two lousy ass opponents so far this year. If our offense looks as bad as I think it will by the middle of the season, I will disagree with you.
