My wife estimates that roughly 5 out of 100 people like me at first meeting, and on the best of days, that number can leap upwards to 8-10 after several near-perfect interactions.

Conversely, I experience a consistent irritation / impatience / dislike / distrust / hatred for roughly 99.62% of all mammals.

 

At times, I really enjoyed being an a-hole.

Good way to cut the list down of people who are going to drive you crazy

In my particular case, I think it attracted people.

 

I've always been partial to you (philia type, mind you). Even meeting you in person didn't change that.

i'm probably similar, but naive enough to believe i don't come off that way. not great for a guy who is basically a salesman either. my wife's friends were not fans of me at all when we first met. now at worst they at least like me. of course her friends are crazy.

 

Fakes are easily spotted, imo. It's impossible to stay in-character all the time.
