It's actually not a bad little referral group to have. They are pretty tight, there are several of them, and they are all pretty similar. Not too tough of work.

 

I know a guy that deals with a lot of truck drivers.

 

Pretty good day so far. I'm putting a new stereo in my newly acquired pickup that was my grandfather's before he passed away. By putting in a car stereo, I actually mean I'm watching my dad give orders to my son as they do the work. It's not that I can't do the work. I just prefer someone else being told to get out of the way.

 

Character building for your son, and bonding time with granddad, too. Right?

Seriously, it is good that they are spending some time together. The way it worked out, the kids only saw him sparsely for the first 10-12 years of their life. He left mom when they were still really small, and they actually called him uncle for a while because they got confused. There's nothing like having your kids call your dad uncle and it sickening you inside except for some small part of you that likes it, and realizing that sickens you a little more.
