I started at UT in 2002 and my student ID contained the last 4 digits of my social, but that's it.

 

I don’t think my actual ID was my full social, but I put it all over scantrons and the like, in the ID section.

 

My social was my employee ID number until like 2 years ago when I lost my shot that we are so [uck fay]ing stupid and it's the 21st century and we still use our SS# for everything.

 

A lady that owes ballpark 20K to the IRS in back payroll taxes seems aghast that I'd require a 1K retainer up front before doing any work.

Go figure.

 

How do you not pay payroll taxes? There's been a few times where we've missed a week and just doubled up the next, but that's one of the most important things to do as a business owner

 

Because she is cash poor and not great at business.

Honestly, I probably should have charged her $2,500 up front. I was feeling generous that day though.

 

Side note to my fellow BattleBots fans - we got the boy a Huge shirt a couple of weeks ago and he wore it first day of school.

That is a little disturbing.

 

Bezos could become a trillionare right now if he 2000:1 split Amazon, and dropped the stock price to below a dollar.

No way investors would let it fall off, they’d rally it to $2 before close.

 

Our accountant handles it for us. Totally worth paying her for it so we don't forget. She reminds our office manager each month when she needs a payroll summary and then she pretty well does the rest.
