I don’t get littons at all.

It’s hard to mess up cooking a hamburger, but I don’t like it at all

I'm drunk at the Greenbrier. I do not fit in here.

Hot Rods is really good. My dad and I stopped there for dinner one day last summer before heading to the dirt track. I wasn't expecting much, but it was one of the better burgers I've had around here. Also, the Plymouth Prowler sitting out front was pretty cool. Middle school me thought that was the best car ever.

Littons burgers are garbage and they get by on name alone. If you are ever in Fountain City and want a burger, I suggest Fountain City Diner. It's a little overpriced, but their burgers blow Littons away.

At some point they decided to go with money over quality. I guess they can do it because people hear "Litton's" and automatically think great, but it's not nearly worth what you pay for it.

Hot Rods is second behind Stock and Barrell IMO.

Brother, that's a food category all to itself. A downside to not working in downtown Knoxville anymore is really no good reason to go eat there.

I’m a big fan of Stock Burger on Sutherland.

Not been there. I'm always willing to try a good burger though.

Ive eaten so much seasoned bison, regular burgers dont taste as good to me anymore. Martin's has a decent one.

I've heard good things about it. They've got another location on Emory Road in Powell that I've been meaning to try for dinner one night, but haven't yet.

    Jackie’s Dream > Chandlers

In fact, Jackie’s makes the best soul food in town and it’s not even close.

It’s just called The Burgers now, due to, I assume, a conflict with Stock and Barrell.

Littons is good, not worth the drive from West Knoxville good, but worth a trip there once a year if you’re in the area good. The bakery is still one of the best.

Cardin’s Drive In in the most underrrated burger in the area.

    And it's up for sale.

I'm just never near Straw Plains to try it. You aren't the first I've heard say this.

Gus’s is better than Chandlers too.

I never thought I’d say there’s anything better than Chandler’s but here we are.

I also heard a rumor that Champy’s was coming to Knoxville, but I’ve not gotten anything solid on that. If true though, move Chandler’s to 4th.

I bet I've single handedly kept the Champy's here in Murfreesboro in the black. So good.

Louis Restaurant on old Broadway is top notch, too, for Italian.

Jackie's is great and it's always a good time to sit and talk to her.

Not soul food, but Lunch House is solid as well. I usually opt for it over Chandlers.

Did about an 8 mile hike with the heeler amd stopped in Dollar General for some beer on the way back.

Turns out if you're in 20 year old BDU pants, a tank top and carrying a backpack and a dog they think you're homeless
