Handyman-ish question.

I need to build a little gadget that can slide/extend upward, but stays put when I position it where I want it. I was going to build this out of wood, but was hoping to purchase some sliding mechanism or something to give it the sliding property I am looking for. Any ideas? Only thing I can think of at lowe’s Are cabinet sliders, but I need something that will fix in a position.

My son's at the age where I have to start locking the bathroom door behind me. I'm taking a wizz and he busts in trying to get between me and the toilet to figure out what's making the noise he's hearing. Last Train to Trancentral

 

Bought a stone top kitchen cart from Wayfair and didn't cuss or throw one tool during the assembly process. I'm kind of worried.

Had to run to depot to buy a drawer slide as one was torqued bad but outside of that was impressed.

 

My wife always wants me to shower with her, nothing sexual, just likes me to be in the shower with her so we can talk and whatever other ridiculous shit she wants to do. Problem is, we both have different ideas on what a shower is. I go in, get wet, make sure soap is touching all parts of my body, rinse, dry off, and get out. This woman has 4 shampoos, body wash, face soap, neck scrub, face scrub, back and shoulder scrub, conditioner, after shower mist, Holy shit, she takes 35 minutes, I just want to get in and get out, and hope i don't smell like shit, or turn the towel brown when i dry off. Then she has post shower face and neck cream, more hair shit, foot lotion, knee and elbow lotion, night cream. [uck fay], enough.

 

Damn, friendzoned by his wife.

True. I quit watching a while back. I will watch the old ones on syndication though if I see they are on.
