Moreso, I would propose that the 600 pound people and the people who work out 5 hours every single day (and aren't pro athletes or the like) probably have some similar issue at which this stems from.

My favorite thing is when a lady was telling the Dr that she isn't eating that much, but she was still gaining weight, that she has a thyroid problem, he says, its mathematically impossible for you to be eating what you're saying you are and still gain weight

And the enablers kill me. They are to big to get out of bed. They can't eat anything that the enablers are not giving them.

 

Yep, you can lift weights all day every day and be motivated; but I adopt 30 cats and lick one woman's foot in the Dollar General and everyone says I'm a creep.

I sold gastric bypass stuff many years ago. Cost myself commission telling a surgeon I saw his next patient eating a bag of bbq Fritos before they rolled her back.

What really gets me are the spouses that get off on being “needed.”

One of my assistant coaches isn’t far from being on this show. I’ve tried to help him but he’s just too self destructive with food and too lazy to just walk.

 

Head man at my alma mater ain't either.

At any point I could hear he's dropped dead and I'd not be surprised, and he's only 42 or 43.

 

This guy was one of my coaches and one of really close friends dad. He’s in his 50’s and is always eating right and going to start exercising next week with him.

Also if I’m talking on the phone with him on the way to work in the morning, he’s stopping at a gas station drive through getting a candy bar.
