For a short spurt of time, its not nearly as hard as youd think. I can think of a couple of times I probably went 5 days or so doing it.

 

Ya'll are underestimating functional alcoholics

 

I imagine you see quite a few in your line of work.

 

Oh yeah. Off the top of my head, I can name eight guys that are a 12 pack a day, vodka on the weekends type

 

What is it about construction that attracts these types? The seasonal/migratory nature of it?

 

Yeah I mean I’ve drank 10 in a day. And I used to put away a handful of Mich Light most nights my senior year.

But to maintain 10 or more everyday? Tough.

I was more impressed by the drop of 60% of sLes if they weren’t to quit drinking but just drink as much as the next 10%.

 

Having to work with assholes like Groves.

 

I was watching a documentary series on prison, and more than one of the alcoholics in jail mentioned that they typically drank 10 to 20 beers, five days a week. And I think they were trying to downplay the amount with that figure... So yes, I absolutely have underestimated functional alcoholics' drinking levels.

 

Trying to help the average today. Btw, for those who like sugar, just mixed a frozen vodka/arnold palmer/vodka/blackberries/lemonade and added 30ish chewy lemonhead friends. Very refreshing

 

If I drink directly from a large bottle, does that only count as one drink?

Outside of southern rock, theres not of rock from 70s i really like.

 

70 beers a week was pretty easy in college, working in a restaurant, and ESPECIALLY during the summer. We drank every night, usually took Monday.

Like the others though, can’t do it anymore like that.

I don't know. I know after you've been outside sweating your balls off, a cheap light beer tastes good
