You know what's annoying? When you see a couple that you know on the front page of the newspaper as the picture of a local "struggling to make ends meet" story, and half of the wife's FB posts are at her husband's hobby event that weekend.

 

we had a guy at the little league who requested a scholarship for his kids for the registration fees. due showed up to the kids first practice driving a new truck. my car is like 10 years old.

Apparently, I am not right wing enough on the facebooks these days because I don't hate the Oscars. A former boss made a offhand comment about what was the value of having them and why would anyone like them. This guy is fairly respectful, but my lone post explaining that I liked them even though they are flawed and that I don't agree with some of the political statements made during the ceremony has been met with derision by others.
