Second verse, same as the first - I have once again left the power supply for my work laptop laying on the desk in my office. I am a certified genius. Mensa minded I am.

 

you need to set a ritual/routine. you are just unplugging and bugging. put your charger cable in your bag first. OR now that you have two, leave one at the office and one in your bag.

 

Or purchase a 2nd one to keep at home and expense it.

 

I have a docking station in the office, so I don't really think about it at all while I am there. I just need to put the power supply in my backpack tomorrow morning and just store it there for now.

I told my boss I was coming in tomorrow because of it, and he told me the same thing about getting another. At my old work we had a bunch of them just laying around because apparently the IT folks weren't swift enough to figure out all you needed to do was change out the wire with the US plug for one with a schuko plug or use a plug adapter. Being the property guy for a while, I gave them out like candy to kids when COVID put us all in telework. I wish I had one right now.
