I've debated getting into loading but don't know I shoot enough to ever break even. Have buddies who are hardcore into the science of it, don't think my brain works in a way that I'd enjoy it.

If you were having a conversation with someone about something that happened in the fall of 2021, would you say that it happened "in the fall" or "last fall"?

I would probably use both interchangeably, as they mean the same thing to me.

 

I'd most likely say "yesterfall"

 

This fall or in the fall. Last fall was 2020 fall.

That's how it's always been to me, but a guy at work just told me something happened "last fall" so I set off looking for info from Fall 2020. He later clarified that it happened in September/October. Now we are trying to figure out which one of us is stupid and why it is him.

If we were still in fall of 2021 then last fall to me would be 2020.

But fall of 2021 has come and gone, so it’s now last fall to me.

If it happened today, then it happened in "winter" and not "this fall." You framed your question misleading. We're in winter.

 

If it wasn't 12 degrees or whatever, with snow on the ground, but was like it was Christmas morning here, I wouldn't know it's winter, and last fall would be 2020.

 

Using "last fall" a day or 2 into the new year instead of "2-3 months ago" is aggressive

 

Certainly leaves some area for misinterpretation.

 

It won't be last fall to me until around March
