16 year old me would be impressed I’m going but also disappointed to learn I’ve forgotten most of the words that I would spend hours trying to decipher.

 

Bone - incredibe

Ashanti - meh

Nelly - not quite bone level but really damn good.

 

I was propositioned by a gentleman at the Nelly concert in the bathroom in a Cardinals jersey. Politely declined.

Bone Thugz threw it down. Ashanti sucked. Nelly fires me up at 40 just like he did at 18. Was fun watching all the 40+ sluts revert back to their whoredom. Got me laid last night at 2:00 and this morning at 9:00. Gonna be a long week overcoming these calf cramps.

Turns out I knew far more words than I was giving myself credit for. Hope I can catch Bone again sometime in the future because I would love to see them do a full set.

Also thought Ashanti was pretty bad. She didn’t really sing anything, just came in on top of the backing tracks that were doing most of the singing.

 

Who the hell are the Bone Thugs? Bever heard of them until this post started.

So, I was not aware that there was a Nelly and Bone Thugs concert in Knoxville. My wife was, however, aware of the concert and that it was on my birthday. I did not get tickets for the concert so I am now in the market for a reasonably priced divorce lawyer.

EDIT: Just looked them up. Rappers. Not my thing, so I am not surprised I never heard of them.

The number of white middle aged men wearing Bone tee shirts was astonishing. That was probably the one thing I wasn't expecting.

Quick watch of some of their stuff, definitely not my thing. Glad you all got joy out of them though.
