Police respond to reports of active shooter in Chattanooga

Started at my father in laws office. Pretty crazy. He thankfully wasn't in the office.

 

Glad to hear that.

Terrible situation.

I read something about the officer being in stable condition and the shooter is dead.

 

Tragic to hear. Thoughts and prayers for all involved.

 

This a lone crazy or an Islamic terrorism thing?

 

No word yet (that I've heard anyway). Initial gut says lone crazy though.

 

My gut says ex-soldier.

But the worst thing is because of all the confusion that always surrounds these things in the first hours, it just feeds tinfoil types.

 

you'd think lone crazy, but they are saying they are treating it as a terrorist act, so i'm not sure what that means.

 

I tend to agree with that in the lone crazy definition. That or one that didn't make it in.

Going to be a very ugly public reaction to this one.

 

Looks like ISIS, given that ISIS issued a warning with the hashtags #Chattanooga and #USA.

 

Obama needs to channel his inner Putin in dealing with these animals.

 

If only he had a set. I hope he get's off his ass on this one too.
