Tenacious D The law is of supreme importance, or no importance

Being reminded that it’s an official press release from the POTUS only makes me love it even more.

    Oddly specific.

I’m asking what you think collusion is in general.

What do you think collusion is?

    How so?

In general - secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, especially in order to cheat or deceive others.

Then what you have is a two step process by which collusion can be proven.

Step 1: Secret / Illegal Cooperation:
Donald Jr met with a Russian associated lawyer. The fact that Trump later said it happened doesn't alter the fact that at one point in time, the meeting was secret. So there is a period in which there was secret cooperation.

Step 2: Cheat / Deceive Others:
The purpose, allegedly, was to obtain information that could be used against Hillary in the campaign, while having the information released in such a way as to not have it look like it came from Trump. That's the deception.

So you have collusion. Whether it was criminal is a different story. Whether there was collusion between party A and party B on the DNC is irrelevant, it was politics, there was likely collusion.

The criminal nature comes in what information was requested, how the information was released, if it was released, and whether it was known that it was Russia doing the releasing. There was collusion; it's the depth of the collusion that is the question.

I think it was probably more accidental collusion, than purposeful collusion, but there was still collusion.

Was there any report that the information they were hoping to get was going to be leaked by someone else to make it look like it didn't come from the Trump camp? Serious question as I don't remember seeing that anywhere.

Most of the dirt the campaign was interested in was relating to emails.

How many emails were officially released by Trump campaign?

All campaigns leak indirectly; it’s politics.

She would be probably be the last, if ever, interview.

The fact that she isn’t being questioned is the most glaring; it means she cannot be trusted to even just lie.

    Here’s why:

Suppose Russia didn’t interfere, but now they want to. What’s the best way? Have this person admit to collusion. Instant chaos.

Suppose they did, but don’t want it known. She lies.

So the gain is very very small, but the harm is potentially very big.

    So don’t interview.

Don't know why they are picking on a sickly elderly woman with ailing mental faculties, as was alleged. Kinda [uck fay]ed up at this point.

It's a weird fixation, that like 70% of the country hates or adores her so much. 320 million americans, let's pick on/adore some others.

No, this is fine. RNC is saying Democrats have to own Hillary. That can be turned around in a good few years; Republicans will have to own Trump.

Trump thinks anything that has ever been done has been done poorly, thus anytime in the past any agreements made have been poor agreements.

And the reason was because those other people wouldn’t just up and not make an agreement.

But he will. And it’ll be the best agreement. And those that did just up and leave, he would have not left, but would have made the best arguments.
