Heard these figures tossed around. Butch to 4.3m, 3 year extension, no word on buyout. Hart wants to make sure he's locked in. Jancek and debord to somewhere between 650-700k. Everyone seems happy with direction and thinks next year could be huge.
Or epic meltdown. Which is what I predict after the streak has been extended to 12 in Knoxville next year.
A contract through '23 means that if we fire him after the '18 season, we'll owe him $10 million. Is that right? lol
I haven't reviewed the salary of every CFB head coach, but you can't explain Butch's pay with just "it's the nature of college football". Yes, salaries are ridiculous in general but I don't think any coach with 4M+ salary has accomplished remotely as little as Butch has.
This makes me feel nothing. Nothing whatsoever. I refuse to care about the program anymore until these people are either dead, fired or leave on their own. I still want the best for the players themselves because they deserve that respect but everybody else can suck it.
