Mrs Fromm would probably throw 3 TD passes and engineer a 4-TD win against us

I'd tune in to watch those, I mean her.

If coaches can kick players off the team midseason, then players should be able to leave midseason.

I mean I’m pro-transfer freedom but this is weird logic.

Why? Players should have equal power.

When you say kick players off do you mean yanking schollies for performance reasons or dismissing players for drugs/domestic violence/etc?

Definitely not referring to legitimate reasons like the latter. College football is as scummy as any other business, so players get the shaft because they are the employee. This gives them options when these things happen.

How often are players kicked to the curb mid season for just not cutting it.

There's a few questionable medical deals where they stay on scholarship but can't play

I’d be curious to know as well. I would think it’s rare.

But is there any benefit to that in season? Not like they can add a scholly player mid year except for giving to a walk on.

Nick has to do something with the players who aren't going to pan out.

If there is a problem with players leaving midseason, they should give them a better deal regarding transferring and guaranteed scholarships.

My guess is this 4 game redshirt rule is going to get updated where you have to be sophomore or under to take advantage of it.

I don't blame anyone for taking advantage of it, but never crossed my mind until someone did.

    Shouldn't be updated, imo.

Agree. A player can get a raw deal in any year of eligibility.

I find it hard to see, how in the case of someone like Bryant, just simply getting beat out for the job is getting a raw deal.

Do you know what he may have been promised on the recruiting trail? Do you know what happened behind the scenes?

I don't. So I'm fine with him going elsewhere since he's been publicly told he doesn't have a future there.
