It's been almost 90 in the Virgin Islands for 2 weeks. I'm sick of it

We ended up with about 10" at my house. I have some friends that had a little over 13". They were only calling for around 1".

Power restoration. We were supposed to go to Puerto Rico but the contract fell through.

It just dropped 30 degrees here in an hour.

Has the potential to be a bit of a snow storm.

What county are you in? Scott?

Back home is sitting at about 3-5 inches. I-40 sounds like it's one big jack-knife.

Yeah it went from the the 60’s to the 30’s in an hour.

Yeah middle and West Tennessee seems like a mess

    It is.

Seems like Milan just said F-it. No roads salted or plowed.

I’d say the rain doesn’t help on that front. Hard to pretreat the roads when it’s going to get washed off

Been 15 to 67 and soon back to the 20's here this week. Wild weather in the east.

Recent study saus the cold snap of the last two weeks was not climate change related. There is a method to test how outside the expected extremes events are now.

It’s crazy it stayed that cold in East Tennessee for so long without any snow cover

I nearly got involved in a massive car pile up today, too, as I left I-65 to go on Ellington Parkway. The elevated ramp was pure ice and, luckily, I noticed in the distance about 10 wrecked cars and did a slow slide for 100 feet until stopping a few yards away from the scene. Scary part is that 2 minutes earlier and I'm probably part of the mayhem.

Regardless, it seems as if Nashville misses the snow storm, 0nce again, and the Clarksville corridor to the west gets the white stuff, as usual.

Friends from back home were involved in that wreck. Totaled car but they are ok.

Currently 71 here, but looks like it's getting down to the mid 60s tonight. Half of South Florida is probably getting out their North Face jackets.

It was pretty nerve wracking. I was lucky to see others stopped and driving relatively slow. That overpass was sheer ice, though. Scary.

When the roads are icy, it scares the shit out of me.
