Unless it slips a bit further west than forecast, it will be hitting an incredibly unpopulated area. However, she's so big that Lake Charles / West Lake are going to get hammered, I think.

 

If it has to make landfall in East Texas-Lousiana, you couldn't ask for a more merciful spot than the current track. Not that I am going to wish it anywhere in particular, as where it goes someone is going to have a life-changing experience.
