WU has now dropped the low to 32 from 35.

Sleeting here currently.

 

Probably 3ish inches of snow on the ground just tonight where I am on the Wilson/Davidson line

Looks like we are going to end up with more than projected... since we were projected 2-3

 

All shoveled out, now to work. And by "to work," I mean telecommute. The norms brought on by the pandemic has made me snow proof. I don't even care anymore. Shovel, salt, go inside. I used to sweat 20 mile commutes through snarled traffic. No more.

 

I dont recall a better mix for sledding and snowballs

 

The snow today in Nashville has been quite beautiful to watch.

 

My office is about 20 minutes north of Nashville. It stopped snowing here about 10 am. My house, which is about 10 minutes away, it hasn't stopped snowing all day.

 

I'm thinking we've got at least 4" of snow accumulation here in Murfreesboro

 

We're going under a boil water advisory, today.

A couple water mains popped, so pressure had to be dropped, which creates an issue sanitizing, and issues with backwash.

 

All kinds of shit gets sucked back through when you fix breaks, it makes you not want to drink tap water

 

Pure water would kill you. We get awfully uppity, for a bunch of meat sacks.

 

Better switch to drinking whiskey just to be sure

I was remotely working and was remotely updated on the tale.

He did drop my Amazon order off, so bless him. I really needed that 3 foot GFCI extension I ordered last week.

Sadly, the kid's snow boots must have been on a different truck.

 

Main roads were pretty good yesterday. Domino's parking lot was another story for my tiny car.

Hoping this afternoon is effectively the end of our regional nightmare (minus the boil order).
