Severe Weather Thread

Watching the local weather coverage, TN Valley Weather. In the last 30 minutes we have heard the following:

We apologize if you can hear the rain coming down. We are in a brand new building, and not everything works. If any of y'all out there know anybody who does blown insulation...

That's coming into Anderson, Alabama, kind of close to the Fish Creel. Y'all see I'm a big boy. I'm going to call out restaurants as landmarks if you stay with me.​

It's actually not bad coverage considering we grew up with almost nothing around here.

It is currently -24 here with a feels like of -42. My door knobs are freezing on the inside…haha.

Supposed to be -33 in the morning with a feels like of -50. That’ll be a new record for me.

I’m headed to the southern plains to hunt in subzero temps. Might be fun might be awful we’ll see.

 

Man. We just got back from dinner. It’s -28, feels like -41. That was cold. I generally can roll with it but I was having a hard time catching my breath. Could have cracked a walnut between my butt cheeks because I was so clinched up.

 

It's a balmy 31 here, relatively speaking.

 

Sounds like someone just needs to man up

 

How do you even open a car door and walk at -28? Can you even find your pecker to pee?

 

You just pee in your pants and shake you leg so the ice falls down to the ground.
