I am already a grower, not a shower, so I would definitely look like a shemale at those temps.

 

Back in my younger days, we backpacked exclusively in the cold winter months (no bugs, no snakes, no tourists, no bears, just the occasional skunk). We referred to this affliction as "arctic madness"... 2" of pecker (if you are lucky), 3" of clothes and you gotta pee like a race horse.

 

Listening to the Basilio after-game show and they are talking about the weather in Kansas City tonight. One guy was like "When it gets that cold, it's all the same. What's the difference between 0 and -30 degrees?".

Uh, as someone who has experienced -30, a very big difference. Zero degrees is brutally cold, -30 is murderously cold, literally. I can kind of function for a bit at zero degrees, but -30 starts shutting down body functions.

 

The person who said that doesn't know.

Now the entire state is under a winter storm warning.

We are up to roughly half a corgi in the yard and flat surface check showed right under 6” an hour ago… but it’s still snowing

 

I went out to the Townsend cabin from our house, going through alcoa and down 321 by maryville college to avoid back roads. It was mostly rain out there while I was there. I mainly noticed on the way back home, but the snow increases by like 200% coming around the curve on 321 at Maryville college, it was kind of wild. Townsend didn’t get near as much

 

Added 2 inches since 8 am
