Especially when you can pay for nearly everything as a business expense.

Coaches don't buy cars, airplane tickets, hotel rooms etc.

Spurrier was a gifted athlete, lettering in football, basketball and baseball. He was a pitcher, undefeated his senior year, and SHHS won the State Title. If I remember correctly, he kicked off and field goals as well as playing QB.

 

He also kicked EP's at UF, IIRC.

 

He kicked a game winning 40 yarder once after telling the normal kicker to get off the field

 

Same here. Like kids today say, "That AWKWARD moment when you realize that Spurrier's barbs and jabs were right."

But as they said back in the day, "Spurrier was a Game Rooster to Fulmer's Dommer Neck Rooster and he owned Fulmer."

He's at least good enough to hand it to Butch as well as Muschamp could. I suspect that QB looks a lot better than he would without him there. It's the same with Sumlin. I don't think he just keeps getting lucky with QBs.
