Cops already been fired. Do know that from reports. They also said that they didn't want people discounting their whole 15 weeks of training, this was just a bad apple.
I do think it is good to want all the facts available before getting to roped up as an outside observer. Not sure why that goes out the window if someone is accused of rape and running?
My West TN friends have been telling me this is going to be a big story soon and it’s going to be bad when the body cam footage is released. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/autho...his-man-arrest-traffic-stop/story?id=96455338
Is "he complained of shortness of breath" going to be "he was critically injured and beaten unconscious, and so we took him to the hospital?"
Also avoidable if the cops do not use excessive force because he dared to resist their perceived authority as Judge, Jury, and Executioner.
A chicken and egg thing, the relationship between LE and the public is out of whack. No one should run, but then no one should be hospitalized when they represented no physical threat.
I think this is especially true regarding LE and Black public. They seem to be pulled over at a high rate; many times for a fishing expedition (i.e., Your tag light is out or dim so I am going to run you for parole violations, your windows seem dark so I am going to search your car, you have an air freshener hanging from your rear view mirror so I am going to do a field sobriety test which you will fail because the test is subjective, etc.)
I knew this was coming and your point is obvious. Just don’t flee and up the chance of stupidity by a cop/s
no. It’s not irrelevant at all. People who say fighting and fleeing are irrelevant are part of the problem. Every action has a reaction. Limit the chance of a stupid reaction by limiting the initial action.
[uck fay] off. You aren’t adult enough to have a conversation. And no surprise you throw another insult you’d never to my face, you [uck fay]ing [ussy pay].
