You did at one time and have now lost interest?

They better not kill red. He's my favorite character

I'm kinda in the same boat. I DVR every episode and get around to them eventually, but its not appointment tv like it was the first couple of seasons. The whole prison/governor storyline drug out too long. Plus I can never forgive them for the falling van episode.

I'm the same way. It was a borderline chore to watch there for awhile. The last season was a step in the right direction. Can't see how potentially losing one of the best characters tonight is going to make things better.

Loved it. Has gotten routine. Hated all the bullshit they pulled last season with the Glenn fake death & the cliffhanger. Was an attempt to create unneeded drama, imo. Tell the story. People will watch if it's good. No need to try to get cute. I see it as an attempt to jerk those that watch/watched the show around. I don't like being toyed with.

Ya, the writing has been hit and miss. They can't seem to decide on whether to be over-the-top action and gun porn, or gritty realistic take on zombies.

In a way, cutting the main characters back down to 7 or so may help in the long-term. It will likely hurt in the short-term though. And it is hard to see exactly where this is going.

I was telling my GF that this season is pretty much a re-write of the Terminus situation, except this time they aren't telegraphing a Carol rescue. But she and Morgan are still out there. This isn't the first time Rick and the Gang have been pushed over a barrel by other survivors. And honestly, they should have done a lot more recon if they're still bumping in to other settlements like Hilltop and that sat-com group that they didn't know about. Stick pairs of people in tree stands or put down "goodies" only humans would want, something. But you have to know roughly who is where around you.

The Glenn thing was cheap. It was an insult to the regular viewers. The cliffhanger just feels a bit desperate.

I think one of the best things about the show the first couple of seasons was they would kill anyone, anytime.

But at this point they haven't shown the ability to replace the dead protagonists with equally interesting characters. So Glen signing off is pretty crappy.

Is that pretty much a given?

Success went to their heads. Scott Gimple is terrible, imo. He's a smug little dweeb that's on an underserved power trip. Aggravates the hell out of me when the actors always refer to him as Mr. Gimple. Can't stand the guy.

First thirty minutes has been awful television. How long can you drag out a bunch of people crying in a semicircle?

Entire episode could have been 10 minutes long without losing anything.

It was a step in the right direction for me, the beginning did drag on.

Agree. That's been the problem since Gimple took over. 15 minutes of entertainment, 45 minutes of bullshit.

I really was emotionally unmoved. Gimple used the Lucille fake out ending to kill my give a shit last season.

All the enjoyment of schindlers list. With none of the historical relevance

I stopped watching in season 2 because of what seemed even then to be desperate writing and forced action

    Going to suck without Red.
