Today I learned that dangling a victory in front of an opponent that you're not too fond of in the single elimination first round of the TSSAA district softball tournament by scoring a run to tie with 2 outs and no one on in the top of the 7th. Holding them in the bottom of the inning to force extra innings. Then absolutely crushing their dreams by loading the bases with 2 outs and your freshman phenom blasts a grand slam that still hasn't landed is almost as good as sex.
Saturday I learned that if you empty out the local trailer parks into a 1950's built gym for a Jr. league basketball game, fireworks will fly.
Today I learned that walking the stray dog living in the basement during my lunch hour on a rainy day is not a good idea.
Picked him up and took him home almost two weeks ago. He was about to be hit by a car in front of our church. He's a yellow Lab maybe a year and a half to three years old.
Sounds like he isn't a stray anymore, haha. If you are not wanting to keep him, you might contact the breed-specific rescue. They could either place him with a foster or you could foster the dog while they look for a permanent home.
We are trying to locate the owner, but I'm not really hopeful. The guy had a choke chain that was too small for him when we got him. It didn't choke him, but it was obviously uncomfortable had been on him long enough to begin to discolor his coat.
Today I learned that Ariana Grande is old enough for me to consider hot without being considered a perv.
