He is originally an SEC guy, though I wonder if he's waiting on Spurrier to retire. His name was floated there a few years ago when Spurrier was struggling.

 

I'd be skeptical. Not about his ability to win but his health.

 

Not sure I'd want to spend top dollar on a guy that had a heart condition act up in a game a little over a year ago.

Out of curiosity, who is someone you would consider to be a proven winner? I don't see Tennessee having many better options than Sumlin, even if Hart is willing to spend.
