Every chemical and biological weapon that Iraq has or makes is a direct violation of the truce that ended the Persian Gulf War in 1991.

    bush's own statement.

It most certainly did from Secretary of State Powell, both to Congress and to the UN.

That's why they buried them out in the desert and by the river. They were trying to get rid of them.

"regime is rebuilding facilities that it had used to produce chemical and biological weapons"

-The line before that one. Sorta shoots down "I can't find any reference to an active program."

rebuilding facilities isn't the same thing as saying they were producing bombs.

that's why they had 2,400 of them in a republican guard facility? to get rid of them? doesn't seem like a very smart place to do it.

So, now we were going to war because of the Iraq equivalent of North Korean fake towns near the DMZ?

They were unusable. I'm really perplexed by how hard you are holding on to this untenable position.

if they were unusable why did ISIS just use them?

Putting something into a delivery system like a SCUD missile is not the same as just strapping some explosives to a toxin. The point of WMD's was the ability to project their power outward. ISIS isn't able to do that either.
