The only other explanation that I can seem to come up with is that Pat did initially feel she was being pushed out, but after her subsequent talk with him was satisfied with him saying that was not the case. It never said in the affidavit whether or not she still thought that after the second meeting. As I believe Hat alluded to on air yesterday, the context of how she perceived Harts explanation was a key missing component is that affidavit. Maybe that was Jennings last play to try and force Hart's hand. I know someone from my college days that has been close to Pat and her family for a long time now and that person has always seemed to questions Jennings motives and actions since all of this initially started after her retirement.
