Gave the wife a Hawaiian themed birthday today complete with fruity pancakes and spam for breakfast, happy birthday accompanied by two ukuleles and Hawaiian-styled shirt clad teenagers singing, and actual sunlight. It all went off pretty well.

 

My FIL bought my son a full-size keyboard, stand, and bench for Christmas. My son does not play the piano/keyboard and has never expressed any interest in doing so.

My MIL will ask me to send her links to stuff the kids want. She then tells me she's not getting my kids whatever I send her. It's like this every birthday and Christmas.

 

My mother loves telling me that my kids will like things I know they won’t. I have a garage full of unused shit I told her not to buy.

 

I am so fortunate. My parents have always been cash givers.

wife got me several L shirts for Christmas and a couple pairs of pants. I'm 5'11 185. Not skinny but not fat. This new trim fit shit is for the birds. Couldn't even pull them over my chest and busted a button on one. No way i should be wearing XL in a shirt
