Butch is working hard

The brutal in game decisions, offensive plan and horrendous losses are definitely part of this.

 

And the fact that he lies his ass off to recruits.

 

Quite a few of those in '15 weren't pursued heavily or at all. Landed most targets.

 

RB needs to be addressed.

Barnett is a first rounder but he has recruited more DL talent than we've had here in a long time.

 

Hopefully Kongbo lives up to potential and Kyle Phillips' shoulders hold up

 

True. Tuttle followed McKenzie, a legacy. Phillips was early.

 

Darrel Taylor is an undersized pass rusher, but he's freakishly quick. Butcher hasn't been healthy but was highly ranked.

McDaniel, the guy that just signed, was being recruited by every sec school until he bombed his act

 

Yep. DL recruiting hasn't been a problem really. Get Akers and Chandler and all will be fine with the RB position.

 

Barnett is a once a decade talent

 

Thigpen is a big reason for the midstate decline, from what I understand.

I was. I didn't expect a national title and undefeated. I thought we would be good but not that good. I doubt many, if any, expected that team, to be that good.

 

Butch will flip a couple of big recruits later in the year. But it would be nice if the recruiting was all but done and the kids could do the recruiting for Butch.

I'm sure he'll land Trey Smith and either Akers or Chandler. If he miraculously stays out of the way of this team, they can be a playoff contender. If that happens, he'll pull some more talent

 

If the season goes well I think he'll flip Tee Higgins.

I think the high number of commits Butch cuts from a class each year will come back to bite him in the ass if it hasn't already. Eventually you are going to burn too many bridges with high school coaches

This may become a problem. It's the nature if the game, everyone knows buy it doesn't mean feelings don't get hur .
