All right with the world again.
Good win. Oakland has been scoring a lot, right?
They ended the night with 109 yards total offense.
UT commit Tee Hodge had 177 yards rushing. He played beast mode tonight.
You got Ravenwood next. Run at Grimes. He had 1 tackle in tonight's 42-21 win over Houston. Houston wr is the son of a friend. Going to bama to pitch. Kid is 6'3 and his dad was 5'6.
Should be a great game for state. Ravenwood is loaded with D1 talent.
Yes it will.
Last night was fun though. Rebels beat Oakland at their own game.
Ravenwood qb is a little mini somebody. Maybe Aaron Rodgers. 5'9 160, but can sling it and move. Changes arm angles and flicks slants to their 6'6 TE, or goes deep to Mason or #12. Big OL/DL ole miss commit may be out.
There's gonna be a lot of fun title games.
1A may be first team to 40 wins. Greenback's QB had thrown for 50 touchdowns this year. Lake Co will have speed everywhere.
3A will have the only team in the state with a shot and knocking off Alcoa. Not sure they can do it though.
5A will be good.
And then the aforementioned 6A.
I’ve been wanting a Pearl Cohn/Alcoa matchup the last few years.
Greenback has a stud WR that is visiting this weekend. Potential PWO.
Summit has twin brothers that will probably be FBS players.
I have no connection to them but I'm a major Greenback mark.
Not sure how much of Greenback is skill or just playing 1A.
3A should be good. Still not sure anyone in 3A can beat them though. They are just on a different level.
I know little to nothing about 5A in whole outside of Knoxville area.
I’ve seen small colleges that don’t pass the eye test like Alcoa does this year.
Decent half for Mur'vul.
They are well coached and have a good 3 prong attack with the QB, Hodge and Davis. AJ davis not recruited?
He is. Low level FBS and FCS.
My opinion is he is waiting to be a pickup at larger school after early signing day.
Also, T Hodge is a decent RB.
He hits the hole fast, hard and low.
Thought this one would be closer. Rebels played very well.
I've had a good time learning to throw and catch lacrosse. Easy on the old shoulders and elbow vs football or baseball.
We put up a goal in front with larger net around it for stray shots and there are plenty, which isn't a bad thing in the sport as your X on offense should get possession if you miss a shot.
Throwing it to my son as he cuts, catches and shoots is fun for both of us. He's asked to throw every day recently. Just worked on lefty catches and shots today. I've only seen a few kids his age going right or left during games so we need to be able to do that going into spring season.
Visited Marucci on Monday. Got the boy theirbl version of the USA bat for league play. Ready to see how it hits.
