I hate Lyle Jones.

I don't think there would be any excuses needed to be made if he was to win on a big level here.

And I think your "shut up and coach" line would be taken care of as well.

All I am saying is if we get back to winning "football games that matter" Butch will have earned the right to be as corny as he wants and do all the rah rah stuff he wants in my book. It all amounts to winning with me.

 

Don't know where to put it, but I just read an interview with Harbaugh. He said he was basically fired with two weeks left in the season and he said he wasn't going anywhere but Michigan. So Lyle got an extension because we were worried he'd leave for Michigan, but Harbaugh knew the whole time he was going to Michigan.
