New Mods Named

Obviously, as Admin, I neither had a vote nor even a vote in who was nominated or elected. But, after much (much!) and heated debate, we can announce two new mods (three others remain under consideration and debate):

JayVols
BassmanPro

We've updated the status of each.

I told you guys that you wouldn't believe who was nominated, or might make it. We don't want "Yes!" men around here, if that offers some explanation (and NYY hates competition, anyway).

Your other Super Mods can explain the who and why of their votes for the two newly named members.

Congrats, to both. They've earned it.

 

Congrats to GriffVols and I look forward to his implementation of a softball subforum.

That's his officially registered name. Over time, it was just shortened, I think.

He was nominated several times, and a few made some compelling arguments, from what I recall.

I just changed all of his new settings and permissions, personally.

 

That's kind of what I'm thinking. I'm really waiting to see if this is true.
