I guess I should start trolling non stop and lie about how smart/more athletic I am. That way I can move up...
This is the thought process your boys have promoted. I want to see one good post by him. On any subject.
Yes. To say the least. And the burden of entry is a unanimous vote. Some exercised their ability to abstain, and were not counted.
If he can be a MOD I sure as heck should be one. I've beat him in a footrace at church at least twice. I've never taken the GMAT before. In all seriousness, I don't know how I'm going to be able to sleep tonight. I'm really contemplating going on hiatus.
This news, on top of Robin Williams death...the only thing that could make this day worse would be contracting Ebola.
This sites greatness lies in it's thought provoking posters. Mods that don't censor every post. For the most part the posters are intelligent and bring unique points of view, agreeable or not, intelligence underlines most points. This dude on the other hand… Don't get it.
The singlemost shocking part of the discussions amongst Mods, IMHO? The great care, heated debates and lengthy posts that occur in any decision to ban someone. I've seen mods who just outright hated a member, turn and defend that same person, if they truly aren't convinced that a ban is deserved. I've wanted to ban people, and have been talked out of it, or flatly denied. And they were correct in doing so, each time. We know that we are not like other boards, and do whatever we can to keep it that way, within even the fringed bounds of reason.
I just read my 24th PM since making this announcement. So, I'll say again - I had no vote on this. And there are still 3 under consideration.
I've seen a forum with a more close knit group of people than this one nuked because of a bad choice for mod. I hope history doesn't repeat itself.
