Nothing like the client meeting that begins with "My wife started selling (fill in the blank with latest pyramid scheme craze here) this year, and she's doing really well with it and is going to try to do it full time."

Tooth paste has been the big thing lately.

It always seems this stuff is geared to women

 

If you ever wanna kill a few minutes, go look up Gary Young(the guy who started Young Living oils). Dude was a total crackpot and its amazing they managed to turn his brand into what it is given how deranged he was

 

I actually think that's the one this one is selling, er, consulting with.

 

Lord, just his wikipedia article alone was enough.

 

My wife is into EOs, and while they have some benefits, they shouldn’t replace actual medicine. She realizes that and mostly uses them to clean, help her relax, etc.

 

My wife is about the same way. She has those mist things all over the house. At worst, they smell decent so they are glorified air fresheners.

 

I had no idea they were marketed for anything other than air fresheners.

To be fair, a lot of them do smell really good.

 

The anti-vax crowd is big on essential oils. Apparently it cures everything, modern medicine be damned.

People are stupid.

 

So far in my life they've not seemed to be too essential.

 

So as I type, my screen is flickering something fierce on my phone. Spare phone use and repairs coming.
