It's literally his fault this ever even came up. I'm not knocking him for fixing it, but I am not going to praise him for it. There are still other less famous programs that are being cut, they just don't have the high profile to bite him.

You realize, of course, that POTUS doesn’t review every line item of each department’s budget, right? That they put people into place who are tasked and empowered to act autonomously in making budgetary decisions.

The mere suggestion of cutting Special Olympics funding is as indefensibly stupid as it is unnecessary, on its face. Whatever caused it to be conceived, and whoever advanced it, was similarly and indefensibly stupid, too - and a big mistake, by any standard.

So Trump corrected it, and which both I and any reasonable person should most prefer, than not.

It’s not only possible, but even ok, to see his correcting an obvious wrong as being good, and without fear that it’s making some larger endorsement of Devos or Trump, himself. That you can’t / won’t do that, even when it’s something as obvious as this, but instead seek to deny, subdue or turn it into something different, worse or larger, does more harm to your credibility, than it helps, IP. Worst, that loss of credibility will not only follow you, but will extend to many more, important and larger issues, than this, and where your personal credibility will be both necessary and can do the most good.

 

I’m not railing on Trump on this one; however,

My understanding is that DeVos proposed special olympics cuts in her precious two budget proposals and my understanding is the House struck those cuts.

So, this is a bit of a recurring theme that he had not previously nipped in the bud and she has continued to advance.

 

If we would just tax all the millionaires 115%, we would have more than enough money to have 2 special Olympics

 

I’d say that the President’s remarks have effectively concluded the matter.

It is exactly the kind of program conservatives don't think government should have any involvement with. It and programs like that will always be on the cutting block when the opportunity is right. It is, after all, "socialism" by the way the word is used these days.

I googled around. As it turns out, collecting the FBI servers is not FBI protocol. It recommends capturing images of the hard drives whenever practicable. https://www.justice.gov/sites/default/files/criminal-ccips/legacy/2015/01/14/ssmanual2009.pdf

Images of the 160 servers were shared with the FBI through a top forensics company. No physical possession of the hardware of the servers is required or in any way useful.

I am 100% certain float, who has helped with your server here, told you this before. That you don't place any faith in anyone but conservative agitators is disconcerting.
