That is an impressive lack of self awareness.

recent events suggest I would throw a snowball at you, but doing so would be judged as more violent than running you over with a car.

This will prove eventful, even if unhelpful.

There’s a part of me that relishes whenever GA posts in this thread, tbh.

Of course, this was a couple of weeks ago.

I'm just going to assume the usual with him in that he hasn't a [uck fay]ing clue as to what he's talking about.

I think he means going to the moon again is just a small part of the overall plan of going to Mars, and is saying NASA should be emphasizing that Mars is the ultimate goal behind the moon return.

Probably, on the first part, but he contradicts himself on the going to the moon part. It's representative, likely, of the eminent frustration in dealing with him as an agency, which had been noted on a number of occasions, with his lack of knowledge while pretending to be an authority and contradictory messages, unclear policies, etc.

We should be focusing on the Moon. Until we can develop the infrastructure to regularly and reliably go to the Moon and use it as a staging area for space travel, Mars should be for robots.

Sir are you suggesting we blow up the moon?

I was not aware until recently the moon is actually getting further from the earth at a rate of 1.6 inches per year. At some point, the lunar month will be 47 days. Of course, by this time, the changes in the sun may have already made the earth a barren wasteland, which is why we need to develop this space travel option.

Not trying to start another argument, but I've wondered if things like this have anything to do with the changes we see in climate, flooding and other stuff. Legit question from a dude who has no understanding of science or climate

I guess it can only be explained by corporate greed.

Eh, I'm just a husband and father concerned about the society my kids will have to endure. I do think the left intends to devour all ideas that are noth their own and it's very dangerous. The fact that the elected left bows to them is even more dangerous and the fact that the majority on the right choose to be utter [ussies pay] about all of it is the worst of all.
