You seem to think reasonable people think he’s not a racist, but you know he is a racist.

I'm going to re-question the previous question... if you use murder as a tool, are you a murderer?

So, let's get to the close... are you arguing that Trump does not in fact use racism as a tool?

not to that level of rhetoric, but it being taboo to marry/reproduce with a non jew seems to be out there in a way it is not among American Jews and is a thing.

it is really hard to be a racist, these days. pretty much have to self-identify.

    I believe I self-identified last night.

I’m not sure what the right word is for when you catch yourself having preconceived notions about people based on race? Bigoted, racist, human?

Certainly not hard to be called a racist. All you have to do is upset the left

as it turns out, racism is a congenital bone disease. if you don't have the bone in your body, you're fine.

Lower taxes has absolutely been called racist by the left.

What racist thing has Trump done? Did I miss something?

Assumed that brown people must not be from this country.

Used others’ racism as a tool to divide.

    Read the thread, man.

He called someone a “brown person”?

    What “brown person”?

I’m not sure what you mean when you say that he “uses other’s racism to divide”. Who’s racism, who has he divided and how?

I was giving the quick recap. It’s all here. Probably best to catch up on last night’s posts and then discuss from there.

Also, should have put ‘brown’ people in quotes ... generally try to do that when using it in that way. But no. He didn’t call anyone brown.

Also should have added cultural fears to the list of tools used to divide.

    Quick summary:

I took issue with calling his tweets racist. Saw them more as cultural fear mongering. Wrong regardless. After much discussion I understood better where the term racist came from in describing them. I also contended that Trump knows most of the Congresswomen he tweeted about we’re actually born in the US but doesn’t care - others disagreed.
