You know who does care? People smart enough to realize what an inefficient use of resources it is to incarcerate, feed, clothe, and provide medical care to nonviolent drug offenders and people whose criminality is in large part tied to addiction and/or mental illness.

That's a terrible argument, considering how prisons and internment/concentration camps have been used over the last 100 years. And everyone in them had "broken" some "law."

Agree with this all day long. I'd rather see us use our money sending these folks to rehab, not pound me in the ass prison.

How many and which specifically would he need to accomplish in his entire presidency for it to be successful?

So replace prisons with addiction counseling and mental health treatment?

    Where's the vengeance in that?

And it's not an argument - but a statement.

Most law-abiding people don't give a single shit how many prisons we have.

Drug use isn't a crime anyways. Unless you want to make the argument that individuals are less important than society.

I don't want to live in a society that doesn't value individuals the most.

Yet they [itch bay] and whine when there isn't enough money for roads, schools, et al. That makes them painfully stupid.

Bannon has been named chief advisor.

Oh my, the protests. So many protests.

No it doesn't. It makes them pissed about priorities as we fund garbage like arts.

I'm waiting on someone - perhaps one of the chicken littles - to rip his 100 day plan apart.

There's really no way to spin this as a good thing. I'm not out in the streets, but this is concerning.

He embraced and allowed Breitbart to become a mouthpiece for the alt right crowd. Maybe it was about making a buck, but climbing into bed with that crowd is plenty enough to disqualify.
