Internet is so so, but the TV is good. Definitely worth the cheaper price than Comcast.

I do, I have a 12x16 covered deck at the pool. My oldest figured out a way to run tv out there.

Making plans to call Directv and see if I can get them to lower my bill for one more month while I wait to see if they make a deal. Contract just ran out and they went up on my bill like $40 so I don't want a new deal until I know for sure.

 

call up and say you are canceling. don't bother to negotiate first. they will offer you less. trust me. the best deals come from the cancelation department.

 

Yep. Did it last year and they lowered it by $40, gave me movie channels, Sunday Ticket and free upgraded equipment all for no additional charge.

My thing right now though is to just get them to lower the price for one more month to see if they're gonna get SECN before the start of the season. They've already done it once.

DirecTV seems to have taken the position that Sunday Ticket makes then invincible and they'll only add niche channels on their terms.

 

Truth. I got it for free last year and must say I did enjoy having it.

That is business suicide in the Southeastern US. Unless they're willing to lose millions of subscribers to DISH. College football is dominant in this particular region of the country.

 

This is why I keep thinking they couldn't possibly go without making a deal. I just wish they'd hurry up already.
