Multiple dealerships were reporting 100+ totaled vehicles last night, so I'd say you are right on target.

I've got a 3/4 ton work van I bought after a hail storm. It got rear ended and pushed into a dump truck. 99% of the hail damage was replaced after that wreck

My brother had an old Chevy C-20 4 wheel drive. The 4wd worked and he had pretty good tires on the truck, but he was on the road working in Gunite, so I nominated myself to use his truck to travel with. I drove less than a 1/4 mile and it stopped moving, due to the vast quantity of snow. Ain't nothing like being stuck in the middle of the road in a 4wd in a blizzard. Eventually I got it moving and went back to the house.

I've just already made peace with the fact we will have both kids and a Doberman in our bed tonight when this rolls through.

This week is the most number of storms coming in from due south, if not southeast, I can ever remember.

We have a hurricane named "Bud". I find this way too funny.

Bud - "Ma, I'm headed over to crash into the east coast!"

Ma - "Don't you be doin' anything to be hurtin' anybody over there! I bust yer hine-end!"

So there is an 80% chance of rain today in Maryville per the daily forecast.

But if you look at the hourly forecast, the chance of rain is no higher than 40%.

    This does not compute.

Isn't it like the odds of heads or tails being 50%, but the odds of 6 tails in a row being lower?

But we aren't talking random chance here. That makes total sense under than scenario. We are talking data driven guesses. The data has to match up at some point.
