Oklahoma actually produces a hell of a lot more quality players than Tennessee.

 

Hmmm. Any notable Sooners been from the state of Oklahoma lately? I always thought they went out of state for most of their talent.

 

Ryan Broyles was a big time talent from in-state for them. I can't think of another one off the top of my head.

Oklahoma doesn't produce a lot of talent but they seem to produce a few really really good ones every year.

Gerald Jones TTFL

 

Take a look at their rosters the last decade or so. Plenty of Oklahoma guys. Especially at linebacker and across the lines.

 

Didn't realize Broyles was an Oklahoman. Old Jason White was a good one from Tuttle, OK.

 

Two Heisman trophy winning QBs in the last decade, too.

 

They have a higher percentage of in-state players than UT does. Have in the past as well. Last year they were like 90% OK and TX.

Lawton Eisenhower usually has about as many true BCS conference quality prospects as all of East Tennessee. People vastly underestimate how pathetic high school football is in this state.
