Yes, I remember TT. He was at TC when I was younger. Interesting fact, the Harper clan has always had outstanding players in the Trousdale football program, including former UT standout Reggie Harper. They currently have one Harper right now, who is interestingly enough, their best player.

Still can't recruit, can just offer financial aid.

I don't even care that they recruit, its the incentives that get me.

 

Looks so weird seeing ESPN trucks by Maryville HS.

 

Have all games been been moved to Thursday night due to the UT game? I know that Goodpasture vs. Macon County has.

 

Traffic in downtown Maryville right now=no bueno.

 

Hence why i an watching from the couch.

 

Quarles better figure out a passing game soon.

 

I love when the guys say "Mary-ville". "Murrahville" is much classier.

Also, Dan Hawkins appears to be not terrible as a color analyst.

 

Love the way Alcoa plays offense.

 

People on my Facebook feed are complaining the bands didn't make the broadcast. Smh

 

Obviously ESPN was there for a battle of the bands

 

All in all good game. Maryville defense seems down this year. Usually a lot tougher than that. Meyers looks a lot better than i expected at qb. Him being a threat will help running game out a lot. The pay design to go up 35 24 was very nice.

However, Maryville always improves over the season, so i figure they will bee hitting all cylinders in November.

 

Would like to have seen Alcoa get a chance at the end instead of the deflected fumble.

Never count Maryville out of state title contention, but right now there are at least two or three teams ahead of them.

 

It's a shame there had to be a winner in that game.

I thought Moeller was a lot bigger school than it is.

 

So, forgive me for my ignorance, but does CaK leave their starters in the whole game?

 

Yeah, it's not that big. My father-in-law went to school there, but my brother-in-law scorned him and went to St. X.
